Help Make a Difference

Unlike many other political organisations and unions, the BPU receives no funding from the colonial Government or capitalist Corporations. We believe that a large part of self-determination is ridding ourselves from the constraints and conditions that come with being financially subservient to our exploiters and oppressors - only by being financially independent can we be in a position to challenge the capitalist and colonial structures.

All of our funds come directly from the community, in the form of membership fees and donations from people who agree with our message and support our cause.

No one at the BPU takes any form of income from the BPU - every dollar we receive goes straight back in to funding the BPU’s activities in supporting Indigenous communities.
